Balterio and Unilin announce that they have entered into a worldwide license agreement. Through this agreement Spanolux/Balterio can freely sell their products throughout the world. The agreement also settles and terminates pending litigations in the Netherlands, Belgium, before the European Patent Office and in the UK. This license agreement is the 99th license agreement on the Unilin glueless patents.
Unilin is a leading manufacturer of laminate flooring, engineered wood flooring, wood-based boards, melamine boards and roofing systems. Unilin realizes sales in excess of 1,6 million $ and operate 19 plants in Europe, the US and Asia where it employs 3500 people. Unilin is part of Mohawk Industries which is listed on the New York stock exchange and is a Fortune 500 company.
