Roundwood prices in Finland have declined in June as compared to May, with only one exception. Pine sawlogs' price is lower by EUR -1.51/cbm, while spruce sawlogs are cheaper by EUR -1.79/cbm. On contrast, birch sawlogs have continued the recent upward price trend and have become more expensive by EUR +1.50/cbm. Pulpwood assortments prices have also trended downwards and are cheaper on average by -1.50%.
On a yearly basis, Finnish roundwood prices show the same decreasing tendency. Only birch sawlogs are more expensive by +5.59%. Spruce and pine sawlogs are both cheaper compared to May 2015, and pulpwood assortments have lost in price terms between -2.09% down to -3.87% for pine.
