Russian exports of timber and pulp up 31.2% in Jan-Aug
Export of timber, pulp and paper from Russia increased by 31.2% in the first eight months of 2007 and came to almost US$8.2 billion, according to statistics released by the Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat). In the first eight months of 2006, exports reached US$6.247 billion, 12.8% higher than the equivalent period in 2005.
