Pellet prices in Switzerland rose again in the current month for the first time since February 2020. May had reached a decade low with an average of CHF 344.1 / t (-4.9%), but now a turnaround took place: + 0.9% to CHF 347.2 / t.
The June figure of the previous year (CHF 355.5 / t) was nevertheless significantly undercut, as can be seen from data from pelletpreis.ch. Depending on the purchase quantity, the individual prices developed as follows:
- 3 t: CHF 359.1 / t (+ 1% compared to 05/2020, -1.9% compared to 06/2019);
- 5 t: CHF 345.36 / t (+ 0.9% compared to 05/2020, -2.3% compared to 06/2019);
- 8 t: CHF 337.08 / t (+ 0.8% compared to 05/2020, -2% compared to 06/2019);
- 17 t: CHF 324.96 / t (+ 0.4% compared to 05/2020, -2.2% compared to 06/2019).
